I think I stumbled upon a perfect song for the Charles/Erik relationship, that could work for so many moments in the movie universe (pre movies initial breakup, post X-1, during or post-X2, post X-3) while shifting point of view. I'm spending Friday afternoon reading Christopher Golden's NMutant Empire Trilogy as a way of escaping from the forces of life. The basic plot is that Magneto is trying to turn the world into a haven for mutantkind, and this is set circa 1995, I think.
